Meruingue
Ingredients:
2 large egg whites
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice or vanilla
100g My Keto World Powdered Monk Fruit Sweetener
High quality food colouring, optional
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 160°c or 130°c for a fan oven and line a baking tray with baking baking paper.
In a large bowl beat the egg whites in a large bowl using a hand mixer on medium speed until syiff peaks
Add the lemon juice or vanilla and increase the speed to high, beat until stiff.
4When stiff, slowly add the Powdered Monk Fruit Sweetener, keep whisking until the Sweetener is well incorporated.
Transfer the mixture using a spatula into a piping bag and pipe meringues shapes onto the prepared baking tray.
Bake for about one hour, keep checking that your meringues are not browning too much, you may need to reduce the temperature
The meringues are done when firm and easy to lift off the baking paper easily.
Leave to cool and harden on the baking tray. Once cooled remove and enjoy!
